A GIS/AI-hybrid map for National Audubon that used the entire 64-crayon box of cartographic skills.
It combines Lidar topography; data-driven boundaries and highways imported from ArcPro; rivers from the massive U.S. hydrology set;
a few locations brought in from Google Earth Pro; various boundaries and labeling hand-drawn in Adobe Illustrator; and dressed up with some Audubon bird photos edited in Photoshop.
Not easy to do but beautiful results.
Because this is a mostly vector image in Adobe Illustrator, Audubon's Western Water team can use it as a jpg online, a pdf for mailing, or as a high-resolution AI for lobbying pieces and educational posters.
