I had been doing this type of business graphic for decades before I discovered it had a name. Process graphics--usually flow charts--show how a company is structured or how they do business or how one of their sales processes works. I do a lot of them but, sad to say, they are almost always for use in internal company communications so I can not share many of them.
Process graphics are often very difficult for a company to do. It's much easier to write about a process because there are many squishy words you can use to describe it. However, diagramming the process with actual images and hard arrows requires the company to commit to what the process should be. I think it's an interesting intellectual exercise that every business should go through.
